How can you know?

Have you watched the ocean, been in the Rocky Mountains, watched a sunset, or heard a child laugh? Some may deny such things as God's creation or explain away this touch from God with psychology, but what of the truth? Should the evidence around me---that I can see and feel and know is God be discounted due to someone else's reasoning or what they call evidence? There is so much man does not know, but yet is stated as fact.

There is so much man does not know, but yet is stated as fact.

Some choose imperfect or incomplete science because they think they have had an epiphany or a growth in their thought processes. They believe they have grown beyond the ignorant that do not believe the same as them. Are they smarter than the rest of us? Well, OK sometimes they are smarter than the rest of us. Do they choose to ignore God speaking to them? Absolutely.

This decision isn't about religion or ceremony it is about God wanting a relationship with us. To some, I became an ignorant savage because I chose to embrace this relationship. I am a fool that doesn't follow logic because I do not have the same conclusions as mainstream scientists. In wanting to worship personal intellect and self science works to prove there is no God. Science in itself is not wrong, but the interpretations of data coming from the perspective that there is no God will always be wrong.

I do not imagine that God is speaking to me through his creation or a sermon or some other way. I understand the psychology of religion, there are many different religions out there, so psychology makes sense. However, the psychology of my mind making God up is not true. All the experiments, hypotheses, and human deductions in the world can not make me deny what is in everything around me. It is true that man makes up religions to try and explain what they don't understand or can't accept, that is why there are different religions, science is a religion from this reasoning.

Science is a religion from this reasoning.

There is scripture (Luke 19:40) in the Bible about the rocks crying out that Jesus is the Messiah if the people didn't. This is the creator in everything around us.

Many people don't read the Bible and tend to put their own spin on faith and relationships with God. Imperfect thoughts and conclusions get mixed in with faith. Scientists use the same technique in their interpretation of tangible evidence without taking spiritual matters into consideration.

I once had a talk with "Gorden" that said he was a Christian and a "show me kind of a guy." We were both English teachers at the same school. He claimed that accepted science that has been tried and repeated can be trusted. The claims are shown to be true and should be taught in schools. I spoke of how it is based on not acknowledging God and therefore is fundamentally flawed. He said it is mainstream science and it is what the government supports, so anything contrary should not be taught. Success in this world was important to him.

It is based on not acknowledging God and therefore is fundamentally flawed.

The only answer can be is that worship of self is more important. A "show me" kind of guy? Look outside! God's creation is all around.

You must be broken of self-worship to hear the cry of the rocks. There is no logic to a scientist if he is not willing to look.
