Truth is Not Relative.

Religions other than Christianity believe they are right. They have spiritual encounters and experiences that motivate them to believe that they have a truth. If you have Jesus (Yeshua) of the Bible as your savior you have the truth, but how does one explain people that are zealous for other religions?

A question that is worth asking: Those of us that follow in our family's footsteps, did we luckily find ourselves born into the correct religion or are we following a tradition? Those that have found a different faith than their family are they enlightened or deceived? Quite frankly, if the God of the Bible is truth than that is all that matters.

John 14: 6 "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" He says that the only way to know the Father is to him. There is no room for the worldly argument of follow what you believe to be true and that will be OK, or Yahweh is also Allah it is just a different way to reach God. Who gets to define God? Not us human folk, we are not qualified. There is no compromise (too bad many Christian leaders don't see this) in following the God of the Bible. Either follow Christianity or not. Accept that the Bible is the Word of God or not. It comes down to faith.

Now with this foundation how do we explain other religions or defend that the God of the Bible is truth? Basically this, the world's view of following traditions of family or a culture (as I stated earlier) is the basis for many religions. As humanity spread out over the world wickedness increased and many people went their own ways. God chose Abraham's line to redeem mankind. This is why the truth matters, because all people should want to be a part of the creator of the universe's redemption.

"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil."

The world is indeed getting more wicked as in the days of Noah. In the United states there have been riots from terrorist organizations attacking federal buildings and taking over parts of cities to mobs getting worked up to attack the capital of our nation. Then, depending on whether you agree with any of the rioting, everyone that doesn't agree with your point of view is labeled as part of the other extreme.

This wickedness is the result of deciding that an individual can make up their own truth. This idea begins with man accepting evolution as the origin of our species and truth is relative. Man does not want to be responsible for personal behavior and thus produces relative truth. The thinking is "if it feels good I want to do it." and then denies the spiritual aspect of God calling out. It doesn't matter your political affiliation, it matters what God says on the matter.

This is nothing new, Isaiah 5:20-21 states: "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!"

There are only followers of God and those who don't.

In order to follow man's ways one must deny that God is speaking to you. The thinking goes that we all have been trained in God, and it is all about deprogramming our minds to accept the world and its relative truth. The peace and joy I have been given in my life tells me this world view is a lie. It is a way to be able to rebel against God and rationalize behavior. To rationalize and feel better about sinning.

It doesn't matter your political affiliation, it matters what God says on the matter. The Bible says to test everything. It uses the basis that it is God's word, it is truth, and you take your situation and see what the Bible says about it. As our country is currently experiencing areas of chaos, it seems that evil in in charge because of doing things man's way. Evil is something that can only be defined if there are absolutes, if you see evil run to God. Following God's way is the only way for peace even when evil abounds.

May God bless you.
